Hello Everyone!!
I'll start this section out with some of my favorite "Corvette Driving Music"
Some of my favorite driving music is truly just that!! I was impressed by music at an early age, and often, the more complex, and the more stirring music is my favorite type of music. But, as my formidable years were spent in the decade of excess (the 80's), I learned to like the truly "driving music" that my mother says drove me straight to hell!! rocker rocker
So here are some of my favorites:
KISS, Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, (these bands produced some of the staples of today's driving music for me) and all the rock bands of the 80's and early 90's (pre-grunge).
Some of my other favorites include the Ramones, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Billy Idol, and one of my new favorite bands is a band from Finland called NIGHTWISH. Led by a formally trained female opera singer, this band truly is masterful in their music, their vocals, and the complexity of their rockin' style!!
I like other bands that don't quite fit into my genre of typical music including Type O Negative (their newer stuff), Evanescense, Garbage, a german rock band called Stratovarius, some newer rock from Linkin Park, Green Day, classic southern rock like Lynard Skynard, very little country... and even classical music like Bach, and Beethoven.
I like music from the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack, Interview with the Vampire, etc. (great composition music and scores, and I love the voice of Charlotte Church.
My music tastes border probably on the verge on lunacy (I guess)

but in alot of ways, I truly like good, talented, and complex music. I hate most all rap music, but I admire the insane balls that Eminem has to do what he does...
I have moods just like anyone else, so I like to drive with just about everything in my cd case.
Let's hear some other people's favorite driving music...
