My Corvette story

At an extremely young age, I had a love for cars. I always knew that I would buy a nice one the first chance that I got.

When I turned eighteen, my brother helped me get a full time job working weekends. I saved a little money for a few months and I began looking.

I had always loved Mustangs. There was something about the sound that they had. No other car that I had heard had that deep distinct rumble. With that in mind, I made my way to some Ford dealerships. When I got there, I began looking at 07 and 08 Shelby GT500s. I sat down and began my dealing.

Being a very young buyer, the salesman didn't really take me seriously(which I had expected.) He laughed at me when I told him that I would give him M.S.R.P. for the car. He said that these cars would never be sold for that price. As he said that, I walked out heartbroken.

A few weeks went buy and I was telling my neighbor about my ordeal. As I was telling him this, he was washing his new 07 Corvette. He offered to take me for a ride to chear me up.

I had always loved Corvettes too, but I thought that they were out of my price range. During the ride, he told me about the great deal that he got on it. I then began researching Corvettes and their prices.

I found one on a dealers lot that had every option that I wanted(minus Z51). I began to talk to the salesman and he gave me what I thought was a fair price. I decided to be responsible and check my insurance before making the plunge and I was shocked to find that insurance on the Vette is extremely cheap. Knowing this, I signed the papers and since then, I have been in love with Americas best sports car.

He was fired after I showed up in the Vette because when I was there he refused to take my offer to the sales manager.
